Our objective at Pacific Rim Fire Protection is to provide our customers with the best and most thorough fire safety services throughout the Hawaiian Islands. We work with a wide spectrum of industries including but not limited to: telecommunication, aviation, government facilities, industrial manufacturing, restaurants, and commercial and power generation. Our team members, Tom and Kirk, have completed projects such as global tracking rooms at NASA, sprinkler systems at a Disney resorts, and as far east as special hazard systems in Iraq.

KIRK CAMPAINHA
Kirk started his career in the fire protection field in Navy damage control. He served through Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. After being honorably discharged, he moved to Florida, where he stayed in the field as the owner of a fire protection company for more than 23 years. He has trained with the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) to better his skills in fire safety services. Kirk has achieved level IV in special hazard suppression and level III in water-based systems layout.
Although well-versed in all aspects of fire protection and life safety systems, his focus and passion have been special hazard suppression systems and the challenges they bring. Kirk routinely contributes unparalleled service to the customers he works with. Some of his past clients and projects include NASA, Cape Canaveral, Rockwell Collins, Harris Corporation, and Miami International Airport, just to name a few.
TOM SPINA: PRESIDENT & OWNER
Tom started the fire safety equipment business as a part-time venture in 1994 with a 5-gallon bucket of powder, a few fire extinguishers, and a vision. With the help of family, a few good friends, and faith in God, the company has grown to 100+ employees and 5 locations. Some of Tom’s present customers include Disney, NASA, and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, among others. He excels in customer service and understands its value to clients.
Tom has been married to his wife, Paula, since 1978. They have 5 children, 2 of which are active in the business. He presides over several of our locations and is honored to help fellow businesses fight fires.
